Experience the beauty, history, and cultural richness of Upper Antelope Canyon on a guided tour led by a local Navajo expert. This one-hour walking tour offers a deep dive into one of the most photographed and awe-inspiring slot canyons in the world.

Overview:

Embark on a fully guided tour through the breathtaking Upper Antelope Canyon, renowned for its surreal beauty and often called the 8th Wonder of the World. Witness the mesmerizing beams of sunlight as they illuminate the canyon walls, creating a vibrant display of shifting colors that change with the seasons.

The tour offers approximately 80 minutes of exploration during your selected time slot. Please note that, under updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is now a one-way tour. Visitors will exit via a scenic 15-minute hike over the top of the canyon, featuring a climb of 21 steps up and 112 steps down. This route offers not only a unique perspective of the canyon’s exterior but also a chance to soak in more of its natural beauty.

Upper Antelope Canyon is known for its flat, sandy floor and wide passages, making it accessible to most visitors. The canyon walls rise high above, creating a natural cathedral of sculpted sandstone. Your guide will take you to the most famous photo locations, including light beams (seasonal), wave-like rock formations, and the narrow, winding corridors that have made the canyon a favorite among photographers and travelers alike. Learn how the canyon was formed over thousands of years through the forces of wind, water, and time.

This walking tour is suitable for all fitness levels, and we will take frequent breaks to catch your breath and hydrate. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and sun protection!
